Sharing user feedback with product teams

(Samantha Preddie) #1

Hi all!

How do you ensure the right teams are receiving user/customer feedback so that it actually has an influence on the product?

I receive tons of suggestions and feedback from our community, and I also infer a lot of community needs based on the interactions I have with users. However, it can be difficult to get those ideas in front of the right people in an organized actionable way.

What internal systems do you have in place?

We use a feedback category on our actual forum so that all requests and feedback is public. We tag requests with a status depending on whether it will be actioned or isn’t on the roadmap. For straight feedback we tag in the person that needs to see it.

My tip is: you have to get the right people into the conversation. Project leader, developers… they have to discuss with users.
You can mention them distilling all the discussion happened
