Revamping a community and integrating Tribe.so in Shopify

Hey everyone! What are the steps you take to revamping an inactive online community? Especially one that is hosted on its own platform and not on the usual Facebook groups and Mighty Networks.

Do you change the design and layout? Or do you reach out to current members?

Another question is, has anyone integrating Tribe.so on Shopify? I’m trying to figure out how to make the notifications bare show up.

Great questions. You inspired me to write about reviving online community in a more general way. To address your questions more specifically, brand and layout need to be fresh and to align with corporate identity. The decision about how to balance has to be based on what worked - and what didn’t - originally. And, yes, reach out to current members because you know they are inclined to be supportive.
