Offering email to members

We are thinking of offering email services to our paid members. I was wondering if someone knows what options we have if we can’t host our own email server. Cost would be an issue.

I know about forwarding emails to another account, but I don’t think you can send out emails using a forwarding service (I could be wrong). is there such a thing as a “pass through” service where they can use our domain name, but the emails go to and from their current email account, like a gmail account?

Google does offer a service using a domain of your choice. 5$ per user: another option is, first 25 users free, 2$ a month after.

Hi @red5, forgive me if this is a dumb question.

But why would you want to do this? Wouldn’t your members already have preferred email accounts?

It feels like a rather strange choice without any background here.

We have over 30 years of global fans who would really like to be associated with our organization in an official way, but the non-profit doesn’t want to host the mail server for paid members of the forum we are developing. I’m trying to find a way to allow members to have an email officially associated with the organization and not bother the one tech person we have very much.
