I love @Hbhospitality’s idea of putting her intro post into her profile card. It gives really great context in terms of intent and requirements at a glance.
Love it. For a community I manage, I do something very similar. The motivation (a web form) that prospective members have to fill in to become a member, becomes their bio once they’re granted access.
Neat idea. Fwiw, I’m actually more interested in things like hobbies, interests, favorite beer, etc. When I read those things, I tend to have a stronger sense of initial connection.
Very fair call. Maybe a hybrid intro?
I love community and Pilsner.
Works for me. Profession and passions.
Several years ago at work, we were asked to summarize the story of our lives up in six words. That was a lot of fun (for most). That might be something, too. (Actually, I’ll start a thread for this to see how it flies.)
