Who has their tree up?

(Phil Betts) #2

Here’s a quick snap. Slipped this year, and waited until Saturday instead of December 1. Purchased this year’s Christmas jumper too…

We have!!!

(Nick Emmett) #4

Yay! Us too - I love Christmas! Been to my eldest’s nativity today, it was ace. I live for these moments!

That train is cool!

haha, my boys really wanted one and we had this one for years as a toy that they’ve both had, so we thought we’d use that one rather than buying a new one - bit noisy to be fair but the kids love it!

Here is my tree and my dog wanted to be in the photo! We collect ornaments each year!

(Sarah Hawk) #8

Ha, cute dog.

(Jessie Schutz) #9

The tree is up! And the dogs haven’t knocked it over yet!

But this is what I consider to be our crown jewel:

(Sarah Hawk) #11

Ha, that’s amazing! Is that an old record player to the left?

(Jessie Schutz) #12

@HAWK I initially thought you asked how old it was, hence my weird answer. Yes, it’s an old Victrola phonograph.

Also, found the serial number information online. It was manufactured in 1919.

(Sarah Hawk) #14

That’s so cool. Does it work?

(Jessie Schutz) #15

I think so. I just got it from my folks when we moved into our new place this summer, and I haven’t gotten around to winding it up. I’ve been meaning to though…I have a bunch of records that came with it.
